As we come to the end of May, we’re looking at projects we’ve won across the UK and in Germany. We’re also looking at our recent work for Xpanceo in Dubai, and celebrating being named finalists at two awards ceremonies! 🏆

Cleanroom project
3-year service contract
Multi-year service agreement
Location: UK
Cleanroom features: An existing customer has agreed a multi-year service contract on an ISO 7 hardwall cleanroom in the electronics industry.
Cleanroom project
Location: UK
Services: We've been appointed by a collectibles evaluation company to install a 6m x 3m hardwall cleanroom from our predesigned range. This is the second project we'll be delivering for the customer, following the delivery of a 5m x 3m cleanroom a few years ago.Award Finalist
We’ve reached the final two stages of The BIBAs 2025 awards in the Global Business of the Year category. The BIBAs, led by North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, celebrate Lancashire’s top companies, entrepreneurs and world-class business community. We’ve passed the first interview with the judges and will welcome them to the Connect 2 Cleanrooms office in a couple of weeks, ahead of the ceremony on Friday 19 September 2025 at Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Award Finalist
We’re delighted to hear our rebrand has been named a finalist at the Prolific North Creative Awards in the Rebrand: Professional Services category.
Launched in January by EXP – Brand & Digital Consultancy, our rebrand marked a new direction for Connect 2 Cleanrooms, celebrating our past and looking ahead to our future.
The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 26 June 2025 at Victoria Warehouse. Wish us luck!
Alderley Park exhibition
A huge thanks to all those who came to see us at the Alderley Park Suppliers Fair 2025 on 13 May. The C2C team made up of Mark Hirst, Dean Bancks, and Mateusz Duda, was delighted to meet so many people and talk about upcoming projects and how we can help design, build, and maintain their cleanrooms.

Case study spotlight
15m² hardwall cleanroom for Dubai-based technology company
Connect 2 Cleanrooms was appointed to create a cleanroom solution to assist XPANCEO in developing smart contact lenses that displays images directly onto the eye.
The 5m x 3m hardwall cleanroom is the next step in allowing XPANCEO to further their research into technological advances and manufacturing processes.
“We chose to work with Connect 2 Cleanrooms based on their extensive cleanroom construction experience, particularly on a global scale. The team assisted us with our initial draft of the cleanroom layout, ensuring the correct compliance was met throughout each area. The finished cleanroom in fact has a better class by air particulate on the level of ISO Class 5, which gives a good potential for higher quality processes and equipment upgrades we may work on in the future. We thank the Connect 2 Cleanrooms team for their support and professionalism throughout the project, and we look forward to working together into the future.”
