A Look Back at the First Half of 2026

The first half of 2026 has been a busy and positive period for Connect 2 Cleanrooms and Cleanroomshop, with new projects, product developments, training sessions, events, and service optimisations all taking shape across the business.

Here’s a look back at what’s been happening over the past six months, from the solutions we’ve supplied our clients to the updates, events, and wider activity that have shaped the year so far.

What we've been up to so far . . .

Strategic realignment of our core focus

One of the biggest developments has been the repositioning of our core offering. For over 20 years, we’ve supported a wide range of sectors with custom cleanroom design-and-build solutions and expertise. However, earlier this year we made the decision to focus solely on the key services that support our clients throughout the challenging cleanroom management process.

By streamlining our services, we’re making cleanroom management simpler and more accessible, giving organisations a straightforward route to high-quality cleanroom environments without unnecessary complexity. Now, our realigned service offering includes:

  • Cleanroom consumables through Cleanroomshop
  • Cleanroom furniture and bespoke fit-out solutions
  • Cleanroom operator training and operational support
  • Particle counter calibration
  • Predesigned modular cleanrooms
  • Laminar flow cabinets

Delivering cleanroom solutions across Europe

Our new approach has already supported businesses across Europe, with 24 predesigned cleanrooms and laminar flow cabinets supplied and dispatched to customers in the UK, Germany, Finland, Sweden, and Spain.

Alongside this, we’ve continued to expand our range of predesigned softwall cleanrooms by introducing additional standard sizes, giving customers greater flexibility to find a solution that fits both their workspace and operational requirements.

Sharing knowledge and upskilling cleanroom teams

Sharing knowledge remains just as important as supplying cleanrooms. During the first half of the year, our team delivered four ISO cleanroom training sessions, helping organisations strengthen their understanding of contamination control, cleanroom standards, and industry best practice.

Industry exhibitions and client events

This year has been a fantastic opportunity to meet customers and partners in person. We’ve attended three major industry exhibitions so far this year.

At Space-Comm Expo Europe, we met with a large variety of businesses, particularly start-ups looking to break into the aerospace sector with innovative and progressive solutions. There was a great response from attendees on our predesigned cleanroom solutions, delivering the flexibility and performance that’s required when developing aerospace components.

Making Pharmaceuticals was filled with businesses looking to improve and streamline their life sciences applications to meet compliance and high standards for their end-users. With over 20 years of experience in the cleanroom space, and our large range of GMP-suitable consumables, we had some interesting conversations with attendees working within the pharmaceuticals sector.

Finally, at Interplas 2026 we spoke with manufacturers and suppliers working across the plastics sector. Contamination control continues to become a core priority for businesses operating within this space, and our presence allowed us to showcase the role cleanrooms play in supporting modern plastics production.

We also held our very first Meet the Supplier: Open Day at Connect 2 Cleanrooms, providing clients with a chance to connect with our key suppliers and learn more about optimising their controlled environment.
