Strengthening Relationships and Driving Collaboration with our Meet the Supplier: Open Day

On Wednesday 13th May, we welcomed a selection of our key clients and leading suppliers for a Meet the Supplier: Open Day at Connect 2 Cleanrooms.

The day was filled with practical, interactive workshops delivered by industry experts, a tour of our fantastic facility, a behind-the-scenes look into the seamless operations that fulfill our clients’ cleanroom requirements, and a chance for attendees to have meaningful conversations and learn more about how to optimise their controlled environments.

Meet the Supplier: Open Day at Connect 2 Cleanrooms

The Meet the Supplier: Open Day at Connect 2 Cleanrooms is the first customer and supplier event we’ve held in over 12 months, and it reflects something we’re really passionate about – simplifying cleanroom management and creating spaces for learning, best practices, and collaboration.

We designed this open day event to be practical, hands-on, and interactive, with an opportunity for our key clients and suppliers to step away from the day-to-day, explore practical solutions, and share expertise across the ever-changing world of cleanrooms.

“Our role is to help customers navigate this growing complexity – not by over-engineering solutions, but by combining the right products, clear technical insights, reliable supply, and practical, real-world insights [. . .] that’s exactly why the open day focuses on hands-on workshops and demonstrations – because effective contamination control is lived daily, not just written into protocols.” – Nicola Coull, Managing Director at Connect 2 Cleanrooms

Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about streamlining their controlled facilities through three, core workshops:

Controlling Contamination: A deep dive into first-line-of-defense contamination control solutions, the versatility of predesigned cleanrooms, and how to monitor and troubleshoot contamination with particle counting.

Operator Best Practices: Exploring personnel comfort and ergonomics through cleanroom seating, gowning best practices and material composition, and the use of gloves in combination with hand hygiene.

Maintaining Compliance: How cleanroom users can choose the right wipe for their application, cleaning chemicals and their modes of action, and surface cleaning techniques for optimal contamination control.

Our main priority is to support our clients in all areas of their cleanroom management – from installing a new solution, implementing the appropriate equipment, furniture, and consumables, and upskilling operators in line with regulatory guidelines and best practices – we recognise that we couldn’t do this without our trusted suppliers.

Our suppliers continue to play a critical role in what we do and in the service we provide; so, we’d like to give a big thank you to the suppliers who joined and supported us with delivering our open day event:

  • DuPont Personal Protection: Sharing best practices around garment selection and cleanroom apparel.
  • Purus International: Demonstrating the importance of tacky mats and the role they play with reducing contamination.
  • Ecolab: Breaking down cleanroom cleaning and disinfection solutions and their modes of action.
  • FG Clean Wipes: Focusing on wipe selection in line with compliance and application requirements.
  • Ansell: Exploring glove selection, donning practices, and how this protects products and operators.

One thing we consistently hear from our clients is that they need a service that has the required products reliably available, offers trusted advice on best practices, and understands the realities of operating a controlled facility, not just designing them.

With over 20 years supporting cleanrooms worldwide, we strive to simplify the world of cleanrooms. By delivering practical solutions and trusted expertise through one reliable partner, we take the complexity out of cleanroom ownership and operation, regardless of size, industry, or classification.

We understand that each cleanroom facility has its own set of requirements and priorities across application, production, compliance, and cost, all of which can be difficult to navigate and implement. Our role is to make those choices easier, and this is the driving force behind our open days and events.

“A good mix of topics covered during the workshops and the exhibition, all of which were relevant for our business. It was great to have time with the manufacturers and to be able to take away information and samples [. . .] would definitely attend again and recommend to others.” – Assured Cleaning Services Limited

We’re sure that this open day will be the first of many at Connect 2 Cleanrooms. Take a look at our events page for upcoming open days and get notified on the next event by registering your interest below.
