Predesigned cleanroom projects
Macmillan Coffee Morning
On Thursday 24 September, we hosted our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning as an effort to support and raise funds for cancer research.
As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, the Connect 2 Cleanrooms team came together to share some handmade cakes and cups of coffee, collecting over £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support!
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to our Macmillan Coffee Morning!
What is rotational cleaning?
Cleanroom contamination can come from a range of sources, including personnel, equipment, tools, and by-products of facility applications.
Both ISO 14644 and EU GMP define requirements for cleanroom cleanliness and contamination control, including limits for airborne particles. However, regardless of cleanroom classification, grade, or industry, specialised and tailored cleaning regimes are critical for effective contamination control and compliance, including rotational cleaning.
In our latest blog, we explore the purpose of rotational cleaning, how this can support contamination control, and which cleanrooms may benefit from implementing this decontamination method.
Upcoming webinar
Is your cleanroom furniture working against your contamination control strategy?
Furniture placement directly impacts crucial cleanroom factors, including airflow patterns, operator efficiency, decontamination regimes, and compliance.
Yet, many cleanrooms continue to make a common error; furniture is placed for convenience rather than contamination control, compromising the integrity of an otherwise well-designed facility.
Join us on 15 October at 1pm were our furniture specialist, Mateusz Duda, will explore how cleanroom furniture should be an integral part of your contamination control strategy, supporting your requirements rather than working against them.
The Medicines Act 1968 update
Amendments to the Medicines Act 1968 and the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 are set to come into force over 2026 as an effort to maximise workforce flexibility, further utilise skills and expertise, and enable pharmacists to spend more time delivering patient-facing care.
In our blog, we break down the upcoming legislation amendments, what this means for your medical cleanroom, and how you can get your facility ready for these changes.
