July Insights from Connect 2 Cleanrooms & Cleanroomshop

Welcome to the July edition of insights from Connect 2 Cleanrooms and Cleanroomshop.

We have some exciting updates for you this month, including some new resources added to our Content Library, a recent ISO cleanroom training session delivered for a facilities management provider, a new cleanroom build challenge, and a spotlight on custom-made cleanroom furniture.

Take a look at what we’ve been up to 👇

National Dangerous Goods Awareness Day

9th July marked this year’s National Dangerous Goods Awareness Day; an annual event that aims to support businesses with the safe handling, storage, and transport of dangerous goods items.

We pride ourselves on our in-house expertise, processes, and handling of dangerous goods for clients who rely on these products every day.

This year, we’ve spotlighted dangerous goods documentation and understanding the information that comes with each shipment.

How furniture layouts impact cleanroom performance

Cleanrooms are designed around carefully engineered airflow, validated cleaning processes, and controlled operator movement. However, once the design and installation phase is complete, furniture is often positioned for convenience rather than contamination control.

It’s important to remember that furniture placement is a contamination control strategy, not simply an interior design decision.

Our latest white paper explores the importance of cleanroom furniture layouts, how positioning can impact performance, and key considerations when looking to furnish a new or existing facility.

Client ISO cleanroom training session

This month, we delivered an ISO cleanroom training session for Assured Cleaning Services, a leading facilities management provider based in the Northwest.

With continued expansion into critical sectors including life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing, Assured Cleaning Services wanted to upskill their team with the knowledge and confidence needed to effectively decontaminate these environments.

“The ISO cleanroom training delivered by Connect 2 Cleanrooms was informative, engaging, and highly relevant to the environments in which we operate. The combination of theory, practical demonstrations, and real-world examples helped bring the subject matter to life.”
